Having described my invention, I claim-
5 1. In a planter, the combination, with the
hopper provided with the stirrer-arms, the ro-
tating shaft having the stirrer-arms, the disk
IH, having the discharge- openings, pivoted
arms, and springs, the plateg, having the cam-
1o pin and discharge-opening, and the shaft E,
having the bevel-gear e, of the main axle
adapted to engage the hooked ends of the han-
dles and having the beveled gear 3I and the
conveying - wheels thereon, substantially as
5 specified.
2. The combination, with the main frame
and main axle, of the handles provided with
inwardly-extending arms having their inner
ends hooked and engaged over the main axle,
20 and the toothed harrow-plate secured across
the junction of the handles with said arms,
substantially as specified.3. The combination, with the main frame,
main axle, and covering-roller, of the handles
having inwardly-extending arms hooked at 25
the inner ends to engage over the main axle,
and the bevel-edged scraper -plate secured
across the junction of the handles and said
arms, substantially as specified.
4. In a planter, the combination, with the 30
main frame, main axle, and vertically-adjust-
able covering-roller, of the handles T, arms v,
having their ends hooked to engage over the
main axle, and the harrow and scraper-plate
V, provided with the teeth v' and inwardly- 35
beveled scraper -edges W, substantially as
specified.
