LUTHER LEAGUE MEETS

The Luther League held their re-
gular meeting Friday night, Jan-
uary 14th, 15 members were prtfs
ent. Mrs. Clove Bates, as sponsor,
and Rev. Flachmei t gave the scrip-
ture reading and led the prayer.
After th>; meeting, games were
played after which refreshments
were served. All members of the
Luther League are urged to attend
the meetings. The next meeting
will I ' February 4th.

failed to have news in last week's
issue; just no news could be gotten
and the weather was very disagree-
able.

Miss Milady Kocurek spent the
week-end in Smithvilk .
Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Luedke and
family and Mr. and Mrs. Frank

day evening at the hoiu of Mr. and
Mis. Gus Elterhardt.
Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Lytic went
to see Mr. and Mrs. Stonewall Sei-

sick. We all hope that he will soon
get well. "
