manufacturo it Sewing Machines, propas •
that iiie public shall be benefitted thereby, nri
huva this day materially reduced the priees.—
After this date they wjil be sold at rates that

such ;)tic.os as will enable then", to make a first
class machine, and.as heretofore, to guarantee
them iu eyery particular.
The subscriber has great pleasure in bding
able t*j announce that, not only is the piice of the
Wheeler & Wilson machine greatly reduced so
a to place it beyond all fair competition, but ira
proveraents of the most important kind have re
contiy b^en made in its structure, iiie ini
pre remonte eonsist principally of double plates
suitable far fine.and heavy plantation work
shifting hemmer. which enables the operator to
change from plain sewing to hemming in an
nstant; new glass foot, a new patent, belonging
exclusively to the Wheeler and Wilson Com-
pany, by the aid of which the operator can see
the needle as it enters the cloth, and watch its
progress. This is pronounced one of the great-
est improvements ever^ made in Sewing Ma-
chines. No leather pad. With these improve-
ments and low prices, there is no excise for
buying inferior machines. The ladies are re-
edcetfully invited to call and examine these
machines, and also the Richmond [Va. j Soothern
Machine for plantation work, one of the best
f-huttle ever made. A fine assortment of thread,
silk aud needles always on hand. The genuine
Wheeler and Wilson Needles cannot be pur-
chased at any other establishment in the city.
