long time President of one of the first lit-

PRUDHOMME is of a beautiful chestnut
color, full sixteen hands high, of fine form
and action, six years old past. He was got
by Gallatin out of Eliza Mills, by imp. Levi-
athan, dam by Stockholder, own sister to
John R.oss and Mary Bowen. Gallatin was
one of the best horses of his day, and got by
the renowned Wagner, dam by imp. Loyia*
than, full sister to Othello ; he never lost •
race where the heats were broken: in athroa
mile race, four heats, over the Bingamao
Course, he beat the celebrated Mobs. Bar-
trand, Eolus, and Miss Fort: over the Car-
rollton track, he beat the famous Revenue,

weekly line from Henderson to Waco,
At Waxahatehie it connects with Sawyer.
Ritcher <fc Hall's Waco and Clarksvillo half-
daily line, on which line it is sixteen miles
from Waxahatehie to Lancaster, to Dallas
thirty miles, and to MeKinney sixty miles.
My Anderson and, Waxahatehie line has
the best winter road for the distauce, in
the State, and is less subject to detention
by high water. Has four horse coaches to
Fairfield, and two and throe above.
Passengers out longer than the forty hours,
withont some providential detentiiou, will
have their expenses paid by my aiient,uutil

Only five meals are taken on tha road,
every tatention given to the comfort

nia, that most fatal of all disease*, who has
