THE SOUTHERN MERCURY.
DUTHERN GERMICIDE
THE CHEAT MICROBE KILLER.
Read , What Texas People say
About the Greatest Disease
Preventative Known.
We do not recommend Southern Germicide
as a cure-all. It is, however, efficacious in reach-
ing the basis of most diseases, because it
strengthens and builds up the weak system and
makes it healthy.
It gives vigor to the system and enables it
to throw off all poisonous matter in whatever
form of disease it may manifest itself. This is
the reason why Southern Germicide has cured
so many different diseases, as witnessed by the
following testimonials. It treats the basis rath-
er than the symptom.
+ •
Below we give a few of several thousand testi-
monials we have received. Had we space we
could show any number of cures that have been
effected by Southern Germicide; but we deem
the following few letters sufficient to show that
we are not the only ones who know the value
and curative powers of this excellent prepara-
tion. If you are afflicted with any of the affect-
ions for which we recommend this remedy, all
we ask you to do it is try a gallon or half gallon
and the results will go further towards proving
its merit than anything we can say.
All of the testimonials we publish in this cir-
cular are genuine—not written by an expert
falsifier, as patent medicine testimonials fre-
quently are. And in order to satisfy the reader
that they are genuine, we will give $100 to any
person who will prove any one of them to be fic-
titious.

A STATE OFFICIAL'S ENDORSEMENT.
Hon. L. L. Foster ,ex-railroad commission-
er, ex-commissioner of insurance and agricul-
ture of the State of Texas, and now President
of the. State Agricultural & Mechanical Col-
lege at Bryan, Texas, has this to say about Sou-
thern Germicide:
My son, who had eczema, or scald head, so
bad, has been completely cured by Southern
Germicide; he had the worst case I nearly ever
saw. Tours truly,
L. L. FOSTER, Austin, Texas.
A NOTED PREACHER'S WORD.
I regard Southern Germicide one of the best
curatives for human ailments. It purifies the
blood and renovates the whole body. For kid-
ney troubles, stomach derangements, weak
lungs, rheumatism, dyspepsia, for all kinds of
female complaints it has few if any equals. The
condensed Germicide will remove warts, cure
cny kind of skin eruption, takes off corns, bun-
ions and cancer warts, cures up old cancerous
sores and scrofulous eruptions. I speak from
a personal knowledge, I have seen the above re-
sults. A tablespoonful in a glass of warm water
well sweetened, drank before breakfast, will
break up any case of indigestion, constipation,
headache, cold or la grippe.
T. L. SCRUGGS, Temple, Tex.
USED BY A NOTED SPECIALIST IN
HIS CANCER PRACTICE.
I have been using Southern Germicide very
freely in my cancer practice and on scrofulous
sores, both internally and externally—internal-
ly it quickly builds up the system by purifying
nil the secretions and puts the system in a heal-
thy condition—externally there is nothing nicer
to cleanse a sore. Often I do nothing more than
to use the Germicide internally and keep a cloth
wet with it on the outside on the sore. I men-
tion two cases: One a yeoung lady with a cancer
in right breast, sent me by a brother physician.
Her breath was bad; menstration had ceascd
for a year. I put her immediately on the Ger-
micide, and kept a wet cloth with it on the can-
cer, for it was an open one, and the breast was
very much inflamed.* In less than two months
time she became regular. The cancer is all
cured and she is in fine health.
The other was a lady 35 years old with three
children. She had cancer. I treated her the
same way. Her health is now much improved
and she is able to attend to her domestic affairs;
a thing she had not done for over eighteen
months. There is now but little sign of the can-
cer.
I have also used Southern Germicide for dvs-
pepsia, heart troubles, catarrh and other dis-
eases, and found it acted nicely. I would re-
commend those having poor heal 111 to use Sou-
thern Germicide. W. F. SMALL,
Cancer Specialist, Atlanta, Ga.
used it. Mrs. DUKE, Mt. Pleasant, Tex.
Witness; Jas. Duke.
GENERAL DEBILITY.
This is to certify that your medicine is all
that it claims in my case, which was sick head-
ache and general debility. I was down in bed
for a week at a time for years. I can say to the
public I have pot had a single symptom since
I began to take the Southern Germicide: it has
worked like magic in this town by all who have
INDIGESTION.
I used one gallon of Southern Germicide for
a complication of diseases; indigestion, dyspep-
sia, biliousness, long continued periodic head-
ache, and it was astonishing to see how soon it
cured me and gave me such an appetite that
1 have grown fatter than I have been in fifteen
years. My wife was in poor health and had
been for a long time, and Southern Germicide
cured her when all other remedies had failed.
Send me one gallon of Condensed Southern
Germicide, enough to make twelve gallons, as
I have several neighbors who want some of the
medicine. Yours truly,
J. H. THOMAS, Holmesville, Miss.

RHEUMATISM.
Send me 12 gallons of Southern Germicide.
My son wishes to sell it in this part of the coun-
try. He was in bed with rheumatism and had
not walked a step for four months and after us-
ing Southern Germicide one week he was able
it- walk. He is improving so fast that we have
had six applications for the Germicide in the
last three or four days. I got the 12 gallons
you sent me last week. My son thinks it is
the best remedy of the age.
S. A. DANIEL, Buffalo, Texas.
FITS.
My son was poisoned and thrown into vio-
lent fits, his eyes were set as though he were
dead; we had given up all hope of his recovery
and thought he was dying. Mr. Clark poured
some Southern Germicide down the dying boy's
throat and rpeated the dose in a few minutes,
and in less than half an hour the boy was up
and ate his dinner. In the afternoon of the
same day the boy went back to his work of
selling newspapers in the city. Had it not been
for Southern Germicide I am confident my son
would have died. Yours,
J. S. BA11NETT, Dallas, Texas.
LONG STANDING COUGH.
Southern Germicide cured me of general de-
bility, cough of long standing and several ab-
scesses of the liver, after having been pronoun-
ced beyond the reach of medical skill by sev-
eral prominent physicians of New Birming-
ham. J. A. STORY, New Birmingham, Tex.
