The 'Liberty Bell' tour was arranged by then President Woodrow Wilson and former President Theodore Roosevelt. The 'Liberty Bell' toured the United States by railroad to garner public support in preparation for the United States' entry into World War I. The 'Liberty Bell' tour began in Philadelphia; went to San Francisco; and returned back to Philadelphia - making 275 official stops along its tour route. The Liberty Bell stopped in El Paso, Texas on Tuesday, November 16, 1915.
