The Age of Man
Some men set a certain date
to start being "old." They pick
out a certain birthday—say 40th
or 50th—and decide to settle
down.
They try to gobble up all the
pleasure that can be found in
the years preceding the date set,
and sure enough when the time
comes they are "old."
Give us the man who resolves
to be middle-aged until he reach-
es the hundred mark. What if
he does fail? He will have oodles
of fun in imagining it. He'll get
out of doors and play golf or
pitch horse shoes or work in his
garden and put his fingeis to his
nose and wiggle them at old
Father Time.
There is no such thing as old
age—unless you look for it.
Claimed the young people still
dance graceful, but the hoof-
irints on the white shoes after
he dance don't look like it.
)eard from the past
of the girls were
tring long and
itbing suits.

Ford Reduces Prices
According to a statement just
issued by Edsel B Ford, Presi-
dentof the Ford Motor Company,
Detroit, a general reduction of
$50.00 a car has been made in
the prices of Ford Model T Cars
and the Ford 1 Ton Truck, ef-
fective October 17th.
"The revision in prices," said
Mr. Ford, "is the result of the
increased volume of business
which our Company has enjoyed
during the present year, and
also to the fact we now own and
operate many of our own sources
of raw material, which enbles
us to continue increasing the
quality of our product at the
same time,keep the price so
low that Ford cars are in reach
of everybody.
"This reduction, which is the
sixth since March 1920, brings
the price of the Ford Touring
car from $575, the price in effect
early in 1920, to the present ex-
tremely low level of $298, which
is nearly 50 perlcent less. Cor-
responding reductions have
been made on other types.
