buggy when the horse suddenly became
unmanageable and dashed away. Both
occupants escaped from their perilous
positions uninjured, but the horse ran
into a wire fence lacerating itself pret-
ty badly. The buggy and harness
were nearly a total wreck and were
sold by Dr. Wright on our streets a
few hours later for $10.

perous farmer, was in to see us a few

the killing of Chief Nocono by Gen,
Sul Ross and his soldiers. Mr. Davis
says that Ross' statement in the News
