WHEREAS, those educators and educator committees, ever conscious of their obligation
to mankind, our county, state, and nation, faithfully promote our civic and
social advancement; and
WHEREAS, in fulfilling this great obligation they become an incalculable force in the pro-
motion of our county, state and national welfare; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Roque Guerra Jr. a candidate for Starr County Commissioner of Pet. 1 is
held in such high esteem by local educators; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Roque Guerra Jr. is a man of strong ethical and moral standards, a be-
liever of justice and fairness to all, concerned with the financial and adminis-
trative programs of our county; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Roque Guerra Jr. is committed to bring about reforms and progress,
within good government, is competently qualified on matters pertaining to
the management and spending of public funds, is devoted to cooperate with
the community and all county official in bringing about progress; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Roque Guerra Jr. will devote all his time and energies that are neces-
sary to properly undertake the duties of the office and will seek county com-
missioners support for civic, educational and volunteer organizations; now
THEREFORE, be it resolved, that the EDUCATORS COMMITTEE FOR GOOD GOVERN-
MENT endorses the candidacy of Mr. Roque Guerra Jr. for commissioner
Pet. 1 and highly recommends to all qualified voters of commissioners Pet.
1 to support and vote on May Cth for Mr. Roque Guerra Jr.
