It has been seven months already since you left us without a chance to
say good-bye. Yet, it seems just like yesterday, because I still cry for you
and I still miss you just as much as that day on February 3, 1999 when I
got the fata! news. You were everything to me; you were my inspiration;
you were my sun during cloudy days; you were my moon during dark
nights; you were all my joy and happiness. You were always there for
our children and me ... always helpful, always trying to make us better
ourselves. We will always remember you for your kindness, your
thoughtfulness, and your great "unique" personality. We pray and hope
you have found the peace and quiet you needed and deserved. Our
beautiful daughter - Kaylynne, our two wonderful sons - Benigno and
Daniel, and I will continue to follow the paths that Cod has chosen for us
until we see you again in heaven. Rest in Peace. We love You.

RGC CITY HALL - Promoting
the development of a county-wide
infrastructure plan, supporting
higher education and 'raining for
county constituents, and
establishing viable strategies for
advocacy at state and federal levels
are the focal points of the Starr
County Vision Advocacy and
Fundraising Team, a group of
community leaders dedicated to the
development of the county.
According to Honorable Eloy
Vera, chairman of the team, in
order to implement this
development, the county must
unite in fostering public and
private partnerships and alliances
to attract industry, tourism and
international cooperation. The
group envisions that the combined
efforts will establish the workforce
development and create the
employment opportunities the are
needed in the community.
It plans on implementing the
project by compiling initial
contributions as seed money for its
fundraising endeavors. From there,
the funds will be used to compile
donation request proposals that
will be distributed to local
businesses and major companies
that conduct business in the area.
