numbers on both Front and Reai of

PASTIME CLUB
Mrs. W. H. Link was a lovely host
ess to the Pastime Club Friday. Feb
ruary 25th.

Mrs. Hockman served as substitute
two days of last week for Miss Show-

Monday's program was postponed
because Miss Showalter was to give
several of the numbers.
Grades G, 10, and 11 had no tardies
during the sixth month.
Last Friday afternoon Aspermont
Basket Ball Girls met the Peacock
girls at Peacock. Both teams played
well, but at the end the score was in
Aspermont's favor. We hope Pea-
cock will play us here soon. Mi -«

PICNIC
Friday afternoon about five-thirty
o'clock the sophomore class motored
to the City Lake. Miss Hazel I.yles
and Mr. V. E. Smith accompanied the
crowd as chaperons. We cannot tell
all we did, but each one present will
vouch that the dam at the lake is a
good place to have much fun. Lunch
was served as the sun was sinking in
the west. As dusk was drawing near

celebrated his third birthday at the
home of the parents, Mr. and Mrs.

had assembled Bobby opened the pack

on a car, Hery Bakke had the mis-
fortune of hitting his right eye with
the pliers. His hand slipped in some
way and one prong of the pliers hit
