verse possession of the above describ-
ed lands, cultivating, using, and en-
joying the same, and huving the same
duly enclosed by fence, for more than
ten years next preceding the filing of
this suit; and by reason thereof has
title to saiil lands by reason of the
ten years statute of limitation of the
state of Texas, which he specially
pleads, and thereafter, on the same
day antl date, the defendants unlaw-
fully entered into the possession of
said premises, and ejected plaintiff
therefrom and withholds from him
the possession thereof, to the plain-
tiff's damages in the sum of $1,000.00,
Petitioner further shows to the court
that the rental value of said premis-
es is $200.00 per year.
Wherefore, plaintiff brings this
suit antl prays for citation as the law
directs, and that upon final hearln ■
hereof he have judgment for the ti-
tle and possession of saiil property
and premises, and for writ of resti-
tution, and for such other and further
relief, both general and special, as in
law and in equity he may be entitled
to.

Rhodes Given 20 Years
For Murder
A. F. Rhodes, tried at Clairemont
last week on a charge of murder
growing out of the slaying of George
Smith, was sentenced to 20 years in
the state penitentiary by the jury
which reported Monday morning,
James P. Stinson, his attorney, was
advised.
The case went to the jury Satur
day night and was kept under con-
sideration until Monday.
Rhodes was tried on the murder
charge at Aspermont October W,
1926, and was given a life sentence.
The court of criminal anneals re-
versed the judgment and the case
was transferred to Clairemont.
Rhodes is chaarged with the mur
der of George Smith at Aspermont
on September fi, I020.--Abilene Re-
porter.
