An Act relating to Brazorla County Water Control and Improvement District--
Brushy Meadows; providing for the repeal of Chapter 52, Acts of the 57th
Legislature, Third Called Session, 1962, creating said water control and
improvement district; and declaring an emergency.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Texas:
Section 1. Chapter 52, Acts of the 57th Legislature, Third Called
Session, 1962, creating the Brazoria County Water Control and Improve-
ment District--Brushy Meadows, is hereby repealed.'7
Sec. 2. The importance of this legislation and the crowded condition
of the calendars in both Houses create an emergency and an imperative
public necessity that the Constitutional Rule requiring bills to be read
on three several days in each House be suspended, and said Rule is here-
by suspended; and that this Act shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage, and it is so enacted.
Passed the Senate, March 18, 1963: Yeas 31, Nays 0; passed the
House, March 21, 1963: Yeas 141, Nays 0.
Approved March 21, 1963.
Effective March 22, 1963.
