Gifts For Everybody
And Santa Knows Just
Where To Buy Them
Bastrop stores arc literally laden with gifts this year
— lovely items for every member of the family, and in
every line.
Just look through the columns of the Advertiser this
week and check the gift suggestions local merchants are
making for your convenience, 1 hey cordially invite you to
come in and see these items, or if they do not have exactly
what you want, give them an opportunity to get them for you.
I hen plan to make your Christmas shopping a real
pleasure this year Instead of driving a distance, hunting a
parking place or storing your car. try shopping leisurely arid
in comfort instead Avoid the crush of the city crowds,
when you buy hurriedly and unwisely because you are rushed
by the people around you and by the clerl; who is waiting
on you Enjoy the privilege of parking easily and making
vour selection* with the help of clerks who have a personal
and friendly interest in you, and who are anxious for you to
be happy with your purchases.
And remember, the money .Santa spends in Bastrop
for the next few weeks will be mighty nice to have circulating
around the town during January and February!
