cial publication of the Texas Art Education Asso-
ciation, is a juried, professional journal and is
published annually (each fall). Opinions expressed
in signed articles are those of the writers them-
selves and do not necessarily reflect the opinions
of TAEA. Manuscripts are welcome from anyone
interested in art and art education- from Texas,
or otherwise-and may be submitted to Dr. J.
Ulbricht, Department of Art, The University of
Texas at Austin, Austin, TX 78712. Articles
should conform to guidelines in the style manual of
the American Psychological Association (Third
Edition). Utmost care will be given materials sub-
mitted, but TAEA can not assume responsibility in
the event of loss or damage. TRENDS is sent to
all members of the Texas Art Education Associa-
tion and to selected state and national officials.
TAEA, a nonprofit organization, is a unified mem-
