Texas Trends in Art Education is a publication of
the Texas Art Education Association, a non-
profit organization, and a unified member of
the National Art Education Association.
TRENDS is a juried, professional journal pub-
lished annually each fall. Opinions expressed
in signed articles are those of the writers them-
selves and do not necessarily reflect the opin-
ions of TAEA. TRENDS is sent to all members
of the Texas Art Education Association and to
selected state and national officials.
Manuscripts dealing with the subjects of art
and art education are welcome and should
be submitted to the Editor at the address
listed below. Articles should conform to the
guidelines in the PUBLICATION MANUAL
OF THE AMERICAN PSYCHOLOGICAL
ASSOCIATION (Third Edition) and should
be submitted with the author's name on a
separate sheet to facilitate the blind review.
Utmost care will be given to materials sub-
mitted but TAEA cannot assume responsibil-
ity in the event of loss or damage. The edi-
tor reserves the right to make minor clarifying
changes in manuscripts prior to typesetting.
TRENDS welcomes advertising and is a valu-
able medium for businesses wishing to bring
their message to the art teachers of Texas.
Additional copies of TRENDS may be pur-
chased when available from the Editor for
$10.00. Checks for single copies of TRENDS
should be made payable to TAEA and sent
