association bus been held in this region
to-day by the employes of the Phila-
delphia anil Rending railroad company
comprising engineers llrenien and
road hands. Two thousand men who
have boon asked to resign their mem-
bership in the assoolutionhuve resolved
to stund to the union to a man and re-
linquish the employment of the com-
pany. To-day is the last day they will
remain in their employment. A large
number of men have been suspended
in consequenpo. Advices from Matow-
Ing riidn St. Clair (Schuylkill Haven
and other points indicate a bitter feel-
ing against the company. Many now
members have been installed.
