LIVESTOCK NOTICE!
I hate to see little children that are already hungry de-
prived of their meat. However, since Whiskey Runners can
?et by in my community so easily it seems that people
have decided there is no law, and apparently there is no
attempt made to enforce the Stock Law. And there is very
little attempt to abide by it. Still, I do not want to do
anything rash. But the time has come that I am so
annoyed by Hogs, Horses, and Cattle. That something must
be done about it, and THIS IS FAIR WARNING TO ALL
STOCK LAW VIOLATORS that they had best keep theft
stock away from my door. If I am unable to get protec-
tion by law, I will try my shotgun. If the readers of this
notice have any sense at all, they will know that as In
other cases where I have given Public Notice about
matters, that folks in some instances will SECRETLY put
an end to present nuisance and lay the blame on me. But
for this, I don't care, if it stops the present trouble.
