The Maiou Caniiing Club met
Tuesday afternoon June 24 at the
borne of Mrs. J. C. Morris.
Miss Halsey and Miss Craddock
were with us. Miss Halsey demon-
strated cottage cheese making. Miss
Craddock made oat meal cookies.
which we all enjoyed. Miss Halsey
made several different dishes with
cottage cheese and some very fine
anndwichese which were served to the
following members: Mesdames Weav-
er Gassaway Ross Henshaw Mo-
Andy Daniels. Killebrew Morris and
Misses McCurdy Weaver Hamilton i
Halsey Craddock.

the garden where Misb Halsey showed
us how to prune tomatoes. She gse
us some points on canning. We sure
enjoy these meetings as we learn so
many new dishes to make for our
Johns and Jims at such a small com
so let's all attend these meetings.

Alex Weaver July 22. and will can
different kinds of vegetables so all
come that can as these meetings are
sure fine.
