Coast of Texaa. entering the United
States at Portal N. D. It extends
south thrn the western parts of North
Dakota. South Dakota and Nebraska
and thru the eastern parta of Colo-
rado and Oklahoma. It enter Te-
as at Texhoma. It follows the great
central plaina over practtcallr Ita
entire rout and affords a Tery
splendid tourist rout from th north
and south extremitie of th central
part of th nation.
The organiiaiion of th rout has
been by states and Texas i th lat
state to organise. A meeting of of-
ficers from all stat organiiatlons
will be held at Cheyene Springs. Col-
orado at once to perfect th bead

The Sheriff and citizens of Lub-
bock were wrought up parly Friday
morning when it was discovered that
Sam Cates and Hulott Smith two
prisoners confirmed in the county
jail charred with murder and forg-
ery respect ively had made good
their ecnpe from our county bastle.

merits so as to give a full report on
the awards made etc. hence we will
defer a full report until our next is-
sue believing that it is best to pub.
lish a full account instead of a garb-
