Old Rusk College, now known as
Lon Morris College of Jacksonville,
is realizing; there afj silver linings
t0 clouds because of the oil discovery
at Rusk.
The Lion Oil and Refining Com-
pany has bought the buildings of the
old college at Rusk and a lease 011
45 acres of the forme,, campus for a
cash consideration of $35,000. The
college was in d'bt to the New Or-
leans Investmen Company to the ex-
tent of .$30,000 and owed some $3,-
400 in miscellaneous debts.
