Smith Athletes crossed bats on
the Grammar school grounds

weeks visit to relatives in Mar-

Our Sunday School is pro-
gressing nicely. Mrs. Fife being
our new organist. We have
good singing. Of course the
Methodist can always sing when
they try.
Mr. Bertie Hatcher and wife
took dinner with Mr. and Mrs.
Brien Sunday.
Mr. Jim Fife and family took
dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Oscar
Fife Sunday.
Some of our boys and girls
drove down to Old Springfield
Friday night to the negro con-
cert. Well I guess it was pretty
good as there are plenty of
negroes down there.
See Mr. Edd Parker has a full
stock of goods in his store now.
Everybody trade with him, he

Miss Annie Fairbiarn of
Kosse, and Miss Ruby Ship of
Groesbeck took dinner with
their friend, Mrs. Parson last
Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Focke spent
Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Ward. I
Mr. George Clark was up from
Old Springfield Sunday.
The party at Mrs. Manning's
last Saturday eve was well at-
tended, all reported a good time.
The Embroidery Club also met
with Mrs. Manning last Tues-
day. All enjoyed the evening.
