His Excellency, Hugo B. Margafn, Ambassador of Mexico, has
given the Library of Congress a 5-volume compilation of Mexican
Presidential papers covering the period 1821-1966. Entitled Los
Presidentes de Mexico Antes La Nacion: Informes, Manifiestos, V
Documentos de 121a 1 (Mexico: 1966, 4999 p., .illustrated). *
These papers should be of interest to all historians and
genealogists studying territory belonging to Mexico during this era.
REAGAN FAMILY ASSOCIATION
May Reagan Mathes (Mrs. J. C. Mathes), 1499 Emma Street,
Beaumont, Texas 77701, a well-known Texas historian and genealogist,
has announced the formation of a Reagan Family Association. Anyone
interested should contact her.

ON ROYAL MANUSCRIPTS INDEX
Inquiries should be sent to the Secretary, Historical Manuscripts
Commission, Quality House, Quality Court, Chancery Lane,
London W. C. 2, England, for data on the 200 printed volumes of
reports on private manuscript collections in the United Kingdom
with indexes of places and persons. In general, these reports
deal with manuscript collections before 1830.
The Commission maintains three registers: The National Register
of Archives and the Manorial and Tithe Documents Registers. The
Manorial and Tithe Documents Registers record the whereabouts of
manorial documents and of all tithe documents transferred by the
order of the master of the rolls, according to the LIBRARY OF CONGRESS
