Another Morrow line is dated March 11, 1952, from Robert
Wilkison Evans, 6032 S. Ingleside Avenue, Chicago 37, Illinois, viz.
There is a William Morrow listed in the Pennsylvania Archives
as a private, subsequently in the Invalid Corps,
and dying in August 1784.
From THE WRITINGS OF SAM HOUSTON, 1832-1853, Volume 6, page
28: "Nancy Elizabeth Houston, 'Nannie,' (daughter of Sam Houston),
was born Sept. 5, 1846, at 'Raven Hill,' San Jacinto County, Texaso
She married JO C. S. Morrow on Aug 1, 1866, at Independence (Texas).
Mrs. Morrow died at Houston, May 19, 1920. Mr. Morrow, b. Nov. 20,
1839, died at Fort Worth (Texas) March 6, 1925. They had 6 children
who lived to be grown:
1) Margaret Houston Morrow m. Robert Alexander John, Dec. 28,
1887. Judge John died at Houston, Sept. 8, 1933. Mrs.
John now lives at 2120 La Branch St., Houston.
2) Emily Preston Morrow m. Davis E. Decker, Jan. 25, 1888.
She d. at Georgetown, Texas, Jan. 3, 1892.
3) Jennie Bell Morrow m. Davis E. Decker, former husband of
her sister, Dec. 18, 1895. Mrs. Decker lives at 3208k%
Smith St., Houston.
4) Preston Perry Morrow m. Viola Louise Thompson, Feb. 14,
1908 and died Nov. 17, 1917 at Georgetown.
5) Temple Houston Morrow m. Frances Augusta Carl, April 18,
1899, at Quanah, Texas. Mrs. Morrow d. Nov. 1, 1906 at
Waco. Mr. Morrow then married Earl Hanna and they live
at 1003 S. Rosemont, Dallas, Texaso
6) Elizabeth Paxton Morrow m Gail Hamilton Loe at Beaumont,
Texas, June 28, 1906. Mr. and Mrs. Loe live at 149 Princeton
Drive, Toledo, Ohio."

From Mrs. Lucille Claridge, Box 708, Safford, Arizona, dated
February 7, 1959:
"...My Morrow line is Alexander (1) Daniel (2), William (3)
and Jane Parks. Their dau., Elizabeth (4) Morrow married James
Andrews) she being my third g. gr. mother...* I have a genealogist
working on this line for me and he has all my-material...."
From Mrs. Charles Frazier, 2753 Lyndale, Pomona, California,
postmarked March 21, 1956:
"Was wondering if you get the TWIGS AND TREES column in the
SAN ANTONIO LIGHT (by Mrs, Lucille Stewart Krisch, Route 11, Box
233, San Antonio, Texas). Saw they had a line that belonged to
you so I typed it out.*.
Col. John Morrow, son of Rev. David Morrow, of
Caroline Co. Va. was in command of one of the
Virginia regiments during the Revolutionary war.
He was a close and intimate friend of the Samuel
Washington, the Cooke, the Gaines and Peytons,
all of Martinsville and Shepardstown, Va. He
married Mary (Rutherford) Peyton, the widow of
Col. Henry Peyton. They had: Ann H. Morrow
who was born 1782, Elizabeth Morrow who married
