Walnut Creek August 23rd 1857
The Walnut Creek Church Session convened at Howards School
house. Constituted by prayer. A number of the members of the
Church being present they proceeded to the election of a representative
to the next presbytery. A. Howard vas elected. No
other business being before the session, it 4ae concluded with
prayer.

Walnut Creek Maroh 30th 1858
The Walnut Creek Church session convened at the house of Brother
Bretton, constituted by prayer. Appointed Bro. A. Howard and
Amanda his wife to converse with Elizabeth J. Olbson on the
subject of disorderly conduct as a church member and report.
Concluded with prayer.

The Walnut Creek Church session convened at the house of Elizabeth
Howard, constituted by prayer and there not being a sufficlent
number of members present to elect a representative

to the next session of presbytery, Rev. Vt. Kelly being moderatd6
by consent appointed Brother Richard Bratton representative.
A. Howard reports that he and Amanda his wife have conversed
with Elizabeth I. Gibson as appointed and the offending sister
shows much penitence and says she feels that she has obtained
pardon for the offence she has committed. She promises that
in time to come she will endeaver to walk circumspectly before
and endeaver to show to the world the sincerity of her repentance
by a pious walk and a Goodly conversation and she wishes
to retain her membership in the church.

The Walnut Creek Church Session convened at the House of Elizabeth
Howards'. Constituted by prayer and after hearing a relation
of the Experimental acquaintance with religion of Jesse
Russell, Tennessee Tumnins and Sarah Tummlns extended to them
the right hand of fellowship.
Concluded with prayer.
