AMUSEMENTS
"Sorry, Wrontr Number," Sup-
per Theatre's latest production,
has been slated for presentation
April 5 and li in the union build-
ing cafeteria, according to Hob
Karuch, sophomore play technician
from Galveston.
Casting for the play was com-
pleted last Thursday, with the ex-
ception of three parts, he noted.
Ruddy Williams, senior from Por-
tales, V M., has been named direc-
tor. Williams has directed several
stage productions including "Don
Juan in Hell" and was seen in "A
Child Is Born."
"The Hitchhiker," also under
the direction of Williams, will be
presented with "Sorry, Wrong
Number" to round out a dual pro-
duction with a single cast, Baruch
explained.

"Sorry, Wrong Number" was
written by Lucille Fletcher. The
plot revolves around an invalid
wife, confirmed to her bedroom,
who overhears her husband's plot
to murder her. She frantically
.ihones for help.
Thursday's casting includes Mrs.
Stevenson, Marilyn Agan; opera-
tor, Doris Woodruff; chief oper-
ator. Mary Anne McNamara; in-
formation, Beverly Barker;
receptionist, Ruth Gill, and George,
Chase Bickle.
Miss Agan, Dallas senior, ap-
peared in "Oath of Hippocrates,"
"Helena's Husband," and directed
'A Child Is Born."
Miss Woodruff, Decatur junior,
appeared in "Oath of Hippocrates"
and is doing sound work for the
College Players' presentation of
"Macbeth."
Miss Barker, sophomore from
H ichita Falls, wrote and directed
! "Oath of Hippocrates." Miss Gill
I will make her debut with the Sup-
j per Theatre in this production, but
served as assistant director of
"Oath of Hippocrates."

William Shakespeare's "Macbeth"
in the Studio theatre located in the
basement of the historical build-
ing. This play is the dramatic
group's contribution to the Fine
Vrts festival, and will run through
Satu rday.
Doors open at 7:;tt) p.m. and
curtain time is The play will
have two eight-minute intermis-
sions.
Tickets will be on sale every day j
during the run of the production.

Ahum Delta

Dean Imogene Hentley announced

Chi Omega placed second with
an average of 2.0(1 and Delta
Gamma was third with 1.95.
Actives of Chi Omega posted
the highest average with 2.22,
while Alpha Delta Pi was sec-
ond with 2.17. In the pledge class,
Delta Gamma led with 2.00, fol-
lowed by Alpha Delta 1'i with
1.96.
The average of the six women's
sororities competing was 1.90.
The IHti members averaged 1.98
while the 112 pledges made 1.8(5.
Dean Hentley pointed out that
four of the six pledge classes
posted higher grades than the
fall 1954 pledges.
"The Delta Gammas have a
particularly fine record," said
Hentley. "They tied with
Alpha Phi in 1951, and won in
1952, 1954. and 1966."
"I am very happy," she went
on, "to see the interest and effort
made in the direction of scholar-
ship. Colleges and universities
stand or fall on their scholarship
basis."
