at August 31, 1972, are hereby reappropriated for the same purposes for
the year beginning September 1, 1972.
None of the funds appropriated above may be expended for the pur-
chase or rental of additional electronic data processing equipment
without the prior written approval of the Governor.
None of the funds appropriated above may be expended on water
pollution control activities except in cooperation with the Water
Quality Board.
Within 90 days after the close of the fiscal year covered by this
Act, the Parks and Wildlife Department shall file a report with the
Comptroller, the Governor, and the Legislative Budget Board identifying
each passenger automobile operated by the Department and its normal
location, its date of acquisition and the mileage accumulated on it dur-
ing the preceding fiscal year.
None of the moneys appropriated hereinabove by the item, "State
Comprehensive outdoor Recreation Plan - for updating Texas' comprehen-
sive outdoor recreation plan," may be expended without the prior,
written approval of the Governor, on a budget which describes each
character of personal services to be rendered, and none of the moneys
in such appropriation item may be expended for reallocating to a higher
salary group any position in the State's Position Classification Plan.
None of the funds appropriated above may be expended on boats in
excess of 20 feet in length without the prior written approval of the
Governor; provided, that copies of such requests for the Governor's
approval, and notice of the Governor's action on such requests, shall
be filed with the Legislative Budget Board.
There is hereby appropriated all proceeds and receipts deposited in
the Texas Parks Development Fund and in the Texas Park Development Bonds
Interest and Sinking Fund pursuant to and for the purposes as set out by
the provisions of Section 49-e of Article III of the Texas Constitution
and of Vernon's Civil Statutes, Article 6070h (House Bill No. 212,
Acts 1967, Sixtieth Legislature, Regular Session), as amended by Acts
1969, Sixty-first Legislature, Regular Session, Senate Bill No. 519.
It is provided that funds herein appropriated for Classified Posi-
tions may be expended for the salaries for the training and development
of Game Management Officers at rates established by the Parks and Wild-
life Department.
None of the funds appropriated above may be obligated for construc-
tion of buildings or residences each costing in excess of $5,000 without
the prior written approval of the Governor.
It is expressly provided that the Parks and Wildlife Department pay
longevity to Commissioned Game Warden (or Game Management Officers)
Personnel of the Department including Game Management District Super-
visor. The amounts to be paid to each individual position shall be
based on the length of service in law enforcement of Game Laws within
the Department, according to the following schedule:
5 years $10.00 per month
10 years 20.00 per month
15 years 30.00 per month
20 years 40.00 per month
25 years 50.00 per monthITI-114
