Twenty-two playing dates are
listed on the 1948 schedule re-
leased today by Recreation Dir-
ector J. B. Peddy for the Orange
Recreation commission's City Baa*
ketball league. One or. two league
gpmea will be played on each
date, Peddy announced, and in
those cases where but a eingle
tilt is scheduled, one or the other
of the teams will be given ah open
date a d permitted to match a-jJ^ly
contest with * non-league oppo-
nent
Nine teams have> entered the
City teeguor-Jhree service, three
Du Pont, two otherstrom Orange
and on^ from Orangefield. ■
On evenings when one or more
of the Nayy teams are scheduled,
all games will be played in the
Navy gym on Destroyer drive.
Otherwise the contests will be
played in Stark gym. Opening tilt
tach evening will be at 7:43 o'-
clock, second game at 8:45. v
