1 AN ACT 2 relating to the issuance of an identification card to certain 3 individuals to permit entrance into certain county buildings 4 without passing through security services. 5 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: 6 SECTION 1. Section 291.010(a), Local Government Code, is 7 amended to read as follows: 8 (a) The commissioners court of a county [-ith pol iMM 9 f2 - Bm l n- . more] by order may: 10 (1) authorize the issuance of an identification card 11 to individuals permitting entrance into a county building that 12 houses a justice court, county court, county court at law, or 13 district court without passing through the security services 14 provided under Article 102.017, Code of Criminal Procedure; and 15 (2) set a reasonable fee for the issuance of the 16 identification card to individuals other than county employees. 17 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011.
