Louella "Lou" Harris, 75, of Orange, died on Tuesday, January 27, 2009, at St.
Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 30,
2009 at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange, with Rev. Jeff Bell, officiating. Burial
will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Orange. Born in Basile, Louisiana on July 15,
1933, to Alexson and Edna (Fuselier) LeDoux Foxworth, she had been a resident of
Orange County for most of her life. Preceded in death by her parents, sister; Lois Abbott;
brother; Preston LeDoux. She is survived by her husband, Carl Lee Harris of Orange;
five sons, Floyd Harris and his wife Angela, of Euless, Jerry Harris and his wife, Lonna,
of Spring, Jackie Keith of Bulverde, Glenn Keith of Pearsall, Allan Keith of Seguin, and
six daughters, Barbara Apgar and her husband, Butch, Brenda Mire Robert and her
husband, Dale, all of Gonzales, Louisiana, Pam Sims and her husband, Richard , of
Orange, Phyliss Mattie and her husband, Joe of Vidor; Sandra Keith of Pearsall and
Connie Beane and her husband, David of Port Aransas. Also surviving are her brothers
and sisters-in-law, Rollo and Wanda LeDoux, Wilbert and Gladys LeDoux, Vic and Pat
LeDoux , 31 grandchildren and 49 great grandchildren.

Euna Mae Fuselier Matthews, 64, of Orange, died Tuesday, January 27, 2009, at her
residence. Funeral service will be 10:00 am. Friday, January 30, 2009 at Pinehurst
United Pentecostal Church. Rev. Bill Smith will officiate. Interment will follow at
Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves. Services are under the direction of Claybar
Funeral Home in Orange. Euna was preceded in death by her parents, Loisy and Euna
Fuseline; sisters Ella Eubanks and Dorothy Hebert. She is survived by her husband of 48
years, David Matthews, sons, Michael Matthews and wife Karen of Canada, David V.
Matthews of Hagerstown, MD and daughter; Brenda Foreman and husband Gary of
Orange, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and sister; Edith "Dolly"Willis
of Port Arthur.

The Celebration of Life for Mr. J.L. Brackens, 68, of Orange, will be Saturday at 11:00
a.m. at Community Church. Pastor David Berkheimer will officiate. Rites of Christian
Burial will follow in Hollywood Community Cemetery under the direction of Sparrow
Funeral Home. He died January 21, 2009 at St. Luke's Hospital in Houston, Texas. An
Orange native, he was a self-employed restaurant operator. He was in the Bar-B-Que
business for almost 40 years. He was an active member of Community Church. He is
survived by his wife, Faye Doris Brackens of Orange, 2 sons, James Bracken, Jr. of
Orange and Jason Bracken of Houston, TX. one daughter, Yolanda Ledet of Houston,
TX; 4 brothers, Emanuel Bracken and Michael Bracken, both of Orange, Willie Bracken
of Banning, CA. and Perry Bracken of Vinton, LA, 3 sisters, Julia Mae Hawkins of
Riverside, CA, Margaret Ann Verridge of Beaumont, CA, and Minnie Ola Bracken of
Salem, OR, 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild42
