of 51 years, A. A. "Jimmy" Segura; brother, Austin McElroy, sister, Frankie McElroy,
and sister Mae Farrell. She is survived by her sister Pauline Trahan of DeRidder,
Louisiana; brother Hoy Joe Clark of Hemphill; sons, James and wife Georgia of
Pasadena, Texas; Darrell and wife Sharon of Bridge City and Tommy and wife Beckie of
Omaha, Nebraska, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will
be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2009, at First Baptist Church in Bridge City.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, near Bridge City.
Miriam Lee Forse, 76, of Bridge City, Texas died Sunday, February 22, 2009 at her
residence. Miriam was born August 18, 1932 in Mart, Texas to Archie McAlpine and
Jimmie Lee Haardin McAlpine. She was a homemaker and resident of this area for 55
years. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at
Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas with Rev. Jack Comer, Jr. pastor of Circle
Drive Baptist Church in Bridge City officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn
Memorial Park. Miriam was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Forse.
Survivors include her son, Dale Forse and wife, Connie of Orange, TX; sister, Dorothy
McGlaun of Groves, TX; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Bill Turner, 67, of Orange, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2009 in Orange. Funeral
services will be at 11:00 am. Thursday, February 26, 2009 in the Chapel of Dorman
Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Rev. Brad Bickham. Interment will follow
in the King Cemetery in Hartburg. Born on August 19, 1941 in Carrollton, Mississippi to
Eugene Clinton Turner and Eva Mae (Goss) Turner and he was a resident of the Orange
area since 1955. He owned Turner Roofing working as a roofing contractor and he was
of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Paula Janice Turner;
five brothers, E.C. Turner, Richard Quincy Turner, Cleveland Lewis Turner, LeRoy
Turner and J.T. Turner and his four sisters, Elise Bishop, Vivian Bowers, Clara Casiano
and LaVerne Rickles. Those lest to cherish his memory are his wife, Diane Turner of
Orange; his daughters, Belinda Lemen of Orange and Billie Jo Turner of Mannford,
Oklahoma; his sisters, Helen Nester and her husband LKD. of Carrolton, Mississippi,
Shirley Haymon and her husband Harold of Bridge City; his brothers, Homer Turner and
his wife Connie of Orange ;and Grover Turner and his wife Theresa of Orange; six
grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The life of Mr. Donald Jeph Henry, 69, of Orange will be celebrated during a Mass
of Christian Burial Thursday, at 11:00 am. at St. Therese Catholic Church. Rev. Asnlem
Eke, M.S.P. pastor, will be the celebrant. Rites of Christian Burial will follow in the
Garden Crypt Mausoleum in St. Mary's Cemetery under the direction of Sparrow Funeral
Home. A navice of New Iberia, LA, he resided in Orange most of his life and was a 1957
graduate of Emma IH., Wallace High School. A member of St. Therese Catholic Church,
he was a member of the Knights of St Peter Claver, Council #44. He bald numerous
offices in the K ofPC, including past Grand Knight. He retired as Warehouse Manager
for Allied Chemical Corporation. Survivors include 3 daughters Mona Richard of
Orange, Donna Henry of Houston, TX, and Juanita Henry of Pflugerville, TX, one50
