He is survived by his widow, Roberta Webster; son Mitchell Beaumon Webster, Jr.; two
grandchildren sisters, Annette George and Sondra Davis; and several nieces and
nephews. According to Mr. Webster's wishes there will be no viewing at funeral
services; private family service will be at the National Cemetery in Houston.

Elizabeth Pride, 100, of West Orange, died Wednesday, March 25, 2009, in her home.
A memorial service will take place in San Francisco at a later date. Cremation is under
the direction of Claybar Haven of Rest Crematory. Elizabeth was born in Hammond,
Indiana on September 8, 1908. She is the daughter of Henry Clay and Florence Bull
(Schuyler) Rutledge. Elizabeth received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from UCLA in
1929. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Orange, the Sail and Power
Squadron and the AAUW. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the
Restoration Fund at First Presbyterian Church, 902 W. Green Avenue, Orange, Texas.
Jerry Felix Curl, 72, of Orange, died Thursday, March 26, 26, 2009, after a long battle
with cancer. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 30, 2009, at Claybar
Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Orange.
Jerry was born on August 31, 1936 in Orange. He was the son of Ruben and Margaret
Inez (LaQuetta) Curl. Jerry was a veteran of the United States Army. He was retired
from DuPont. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and four sisters. He
is survived by his daughter, Sherry Majors and her husband Arnold of Stowell, TX; son,
Jeffrey Curl and his wife Crystal of Orange; four grandchildren and sisters, Clara Green
of Orange, and Shirley Waldrip of Jasper.

Watson Harrison Collins, 100, died March 27, 2009, in Bridge City. Funeral services
will be held at 11:00 am. Monday; March 30, 2009, at First Baptist Church in Bridge
City. Rev. Barry Murchison and Jack Comer will officiate. Graveside services will be
follow at 3:00 p.m. Monday at the Holly Grove Cemetery in Livingston, Texas.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church in Bridge
City. Services are under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City, TX. The
oldest son of Rev. Richard Monroe Collins and Minilia Ellen Collins, he was born on
May 12, 1908 in Segno, Texas, Polk County. He and his wife, Ida Mae Moorman
Collins, moved to Bridge City in 1994 to be near their children. Watson was a Reforester
and retired from Kirby Lumber Co. He was an ordained deacon for over 50 years, taught
Sunday School and enjoyed singing in church quartets. He was currently a member of
Circle Drive Baptist Church in Bridge City. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida
Mae Collins; parents, Richard Monroe and Minilia Collins; sister Lavaler Rhodes; son-in-
law, D.C. and Bernice Collins of Houston; brother, Mann Collins of Rye. He is also
survived by his children and their spouses; Kenneth Kennedy of Dallas, Ellen and Bill
Nickum, Betty Starkey, Harold and Teresa Collins, all of Bridge City and Kevin and
Carolyn Blanton of Houston. Also he is survived by 10 grandchildren, and twenty great
grandchildren.60
