«£ Camping is the theme suggested for March
for several reasons. Perhaps some of your
Scouts are headed for Valley Forge and the Jam-
boree; or perhaps the District or Council Camporee
will be the climax of the spring program. Summer
camp is only a few months away and the most
successful experience there depends upon the right
kind of preparation now. With spring almost here,
every fellow in the Troop is ready for camping,
and you can capitalize on this natural interest to
teach camping skills.
The following Troop and Patrol meeting sugges-
tions may be adapted to fit your own needs.
Whether used as is or changed around, the impor-
tant thing is to plan in advance so that all phases
of camp living may be covered most effectively.
