H. Gilliam versus Continental Oil &
Cotton Company suit for damages for
alleged personal injuries returned a
verdict for the plaintiff) in the sum of
510000 half the amount sued for.
This was the first damage suit of the
week to result in a judgment for the
plaintiff.
