tee testified today in tho iavetlK-
tlon or presidential campaign contri-
butions which was renewed by the

that his father's records showed that
thoro had boon no contribution to tho
campaign by John D. ArchboW or any
of tho other members of the Standard
Oil Company.
Ho said that his father Held that the
names of tho contributors should be
considered confidential and bad per-
sistently rcruscd to make them pub-
lic. Bliss said that ho father had told
htm that ho had allowed the treasur-
er's books to bo destroyed because he
believed them useless
