Infantry brings out the fact that the
National (luard of this city has
reached the highest plane of etllclency.
This .Is partlculaly gratifying be-
cause the state has spent a large sum
of money In courses of instruction.
The Texas Cuard will participate this
summer in the mobilization of the
trooos at I.eon Springs the govern-
ment reservation Just outside of this
city. At this mobilization some twen-
ty thousand troops will be in ramp In-
cluding the National Cuard of Texas
New Mexico Oklahoma Arkansas and
Louisiana and nil of the regular
