Marfa Texas .March IS. The Insur-
rectos today cut The last line of com-
munication between Ojinaga and the
American Hide of the river and com-
pletely surround Ojinaga under the
leadership of General Orozco3. The
irrigation ditch supplying the town
with water la cut forcing the besieged
city to depend on a few weeks. Sev-
eral federals were killed. One insur-
recto was killed today.
Colonel Dorantes of the federal
forces Is completely surrounded with
a small bodyguard In a few houses
about a mile from Ojinaga. He was
caught there while making an Inspec-
tlon. The dead bodit'3 of 'several of
his soldiers can be seen. Colonel Do-
rantes Is second In command of the
Ojinaga garrison.

mumps have developed among the
troops in camp at Fort Sara Houston
and the contagion is also in the post
hospital.
Foulois and Parmalee made success-
ful aeroplane flights this morning.
The tirst regimental hike took place
today.
Certain government officials here
are credited with a report that the
windows of President Diaz's palace
were stoned twoj weeks ago.

Chesley Smith probably saved several
lives by putting on full s;eed ahead
this morning on the Dallas and Sher-
man lnterurban line when he saw an
express oar rushing toward the rear
of his car. The shock of the collision
was greatly lessened by Smith's 6purt.
