Miss Luclle Batte Entertains
A charming event of the week pos-
sessing beauty of plan was the party
given by Miss Lucile Batte on Wednes-
day afternoon at the lovely home of
her parents Mr. and Mrs. T. R. Batte.
Miss Luclle is known for her orig-
inality in entertaining and this hos-
pitality proved no excepton to the rule
but rather added further honors to
this young hostess' ability as an en-
tertainer. A most beautiful decorative
effect was accomplished with pink car-

blooms were perfect In form and color
and the quantities of handsome blooms
employed converted the reception suite
Into1 an Ideal environment for the
guests. The parlor was In pink and
handsome long-stemmed pink carna-

beautifully arranged on mantel tables

lovely blossoms did all that flowers
could do in beautifying the dining
room. Narcissus and violets were
tastily used In decorating the library
