ciation, and the other to
be a meeting room for the
City Council, Chamber of

The meeting room also
will be used as an election
polling place.
The water department
office has been redeco-
rated and a new roof has
been placed over the
building.
Dan Hampton of the
Hampton's Construction
Company drew up the
plans and supervised the
job, which will cost less
than $5,500.
The remodeling was
first considered in the B.
J. Floyd administration
but was deferred. In July,
the City Council revised
the project and instructed
the mayor to proceed with
the alterations on the re-
modeling of the old
building.
