Maj. J. D. McOamant catno in
from his Clear Porjc farm near
Phantom Hill Friday and sold a
Oalo of cotton for 43M2. It wus
a load of 1810 pounds sold in the

ture Mrs. J. W. Hearne whose ac-

a daughter of Judge J. V. Cock-
rell as we stated but a sister
to Mrs Fred Cockrell whom
our people remember with
much pleasure as a visitor to
Abilene. The family has moved
from Chicago to Denison. Now
that she is so much nearer to
Abilene her many friends hope
to see her frequently. Our mis-
take yesterday was tho resultof
doing oar work hurriedly.

once a day to water received for
his butter fat for the month of
Sept. f20.50 besides butter for
his own table aud skimmed milk
sufficient to raise his hogs. These
cows received no grain feed at
all and under iavorable. condi-
tion as to weather aud water
would no doubt net their owner
