There will be an old-fash-
ioned Halloween party at the
Rocky Branch Community Cen-
ter Saturday, Oct. 28 starting
at 6 p.m. All guests should be
in costume for the games and
prizes event.
The Rocky Branch Commun-
ity Improvement Organization
met at the Rocky Branch com-
munity center i'or a covered
dish supper this week. There
were several visitors present.
The business meeting was
called to order by the presi-
dent, Olen Smith and Mrs. Jim
Hineman was named program
chairman for the next year.
Other committoe chairmen
were Lee Peek. Ray Beggs and
Mrs. Travis Morris, ways and
means; Mrs. Troy Gibbs, the
school and church committee;
Mrs. J. C. Traylor and Mrs. J.
H. Minor, refreshments.
George Gilliam, J. Roy Tray-
lor and J. L. Forsyth were
named to the agriculture com-
mittee; Troy Gibbs, home liv-
ing: Oscar Parker, youth; Mrs.
Terrell Norlham of Dainger-
field, scrapbook and Mrs. Dan
Foster, Mrs. Lee Peek. Bernice
Knight, Troy Gibbs and Thom-
as Stevens, building commit-
tee.

they took while teaching there
for some seven years.

turned from Dallas for the
week end.
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Wolfeon
and family were at the Lazy W
Ranch for the week end. They
are handbag wholesalers from
Dallas who have purchased the
Wade Freeman place.
Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Minor and
Bimbo were in Waco to visit
Jean and Danny Collard over
the week end.
A special welcome to new
property owners in the Rocky
Branch community. Mr. and
Mrs. Lstes Goodman and fam-
ily are new residents along
with Mr. and Mrs. Pilgrim ani
family, Mr. and Mrs. Lee, Mr.
