Alamance, Sherman, Bloomburst
Rock Spring Ct«w ;:Satem, Queen
City, Bloomhurst colored, Spriug
Hill, New Zion. They seem to be
chning well. The state aid schools
are ordering history charts and
libraries, getting ready for the
iospector. Some of tbem ueed to
clean off the grounds, most of
them need to get their water bub
biers, A few schools bave no
placebo lock up the books.

for inspector and be has been no-

for Qethsemane school to be paid
when the building comes up to
(opacifications; it will be inspected
ho on.
We have in the office high school
Algebras, seventh grade and Tex-

We are out of report cards and
we don't know when we shall
have tbem. Be careful in mak-
ing your monthly reports to be
accurate. Make them with ink.
s they are records to be kept
three years. Notice the last 3
items on the report. Compulso
ry term began Mouday. I mupt
have these in order to tell wheth-
er those in compulsory age are in
ttcbool. The last item shows the
average number of children pre
beat during the month. The ini-
tiative in the enforcement de-
pends upon the teachers.
Salem school has added a new
room and Mr. and Mrs. Koinev
have the bouse full, Cass has a
full enrollment. Queen City ban
added another teacher and some
needed equipment, and library.
Special attention is called to
the flag law as found in Bulletin
178, Sections 353 377. Each
school sboah} own a flag and the
expense of .purchase and the erec-
tion of pote is a M* if i mate ex-
-penso to be paid from the local
maintenance fund'of the district.
The new civics—our government
