W<"pP'
" W y* !
IJHOTO ABOVE shows the huge
Ford Exposition building at
ihe Texas Centennial, Dallas, as
fc will appear when completed.
Construction is now in progress,
the general contract having been
iwarded to the Central Contract-
ing Company of Dallas. Founda-
tions are now completed and erec-
tion of 363 tons of steel work is
under way. The steel work is
expected to be completed within
three weeks and the entire build-
ing and exhibits will be ready for
the Exposition opening June 6.
The structure, which will have a
complete air cooling and humidify-
ing system, will house exhibits
showing manufacturing and test-
ing processes used by the Ford
Motor Company in its Rouge plant
at Dearborn, Mich. A huge out-
door court will be attractively
landscaped and will contain com-
fortable chairs and benches where
visitors may relax in the shade
under colorful umbrellas. On one
side of the Ford Building will be
nine reconstructed historic roads,
trails and highways to be known
as the "Roads of the Southwest,"
over which visitors will be trans-
ported in a fleet of Ford V-8 cars.

Gentlemen: • w—: •<*' Jacksonville, Texas.
Having kept a record of gas consumption for the past four
months, it is gratifying to find that my gas equipped kitchen,
which includes the cook stove, hot water heater and Electrolux
refrigerator, has been operated at an average cost of only
$4.18 per month.
The low operating cost of the refrigerator, not exceeding 70c
per month and sometimes- even less, together with its excellent
service, makes it outstanding. Yours very truly,
