totalled $339000000 according to
a preliminary report made public
by the Department of Commerce
today. The exports in December
were $344425364. Officials of the -
department today viewed the de-
crease as due to the economic
conditions in Europe.

Tutenkhamun is by far the richest
treasure trove ever uncovered in the
necropolis of ancient Thebes acting
curator of the Egyptian section of the
Metropolitan Museum of Art declared
today. It is probably the richest that
will ever be uncovered he said.
