SENATOR JOHNSON. ;
The Texas grain dealers are pre-
paring to ask Congress to recompense
them for. the damages they sustained
by reason of the fixed price of wheat.
If the Texas wheat growers slioulTl
make j a similar demand their case
could jprobably be proven much easier
than that of the ilealers but undoubt-
edly both have sustained damages.
If Brownwood can get her individ-
ual and collective gas stoves installed
and adjusted by next Saturday the
coal strike won't worry this city.

It wasn't so much what you eat as it is the way it's prepared
that makes you smack your lips and give that groan of sat-
isfaction. Weil it's a fact arid we serve three such metis
every day. Our meal cooks are unexcelled. If you have
never tried one of our regular family dinners do so and
you will agree with me. There are so many things that re-
minds one of home cooking it's just a little different from
other such meals and it's a difference that you will like.
We have meal tickets 21 meals for $10.00 and if you
stop to consider the high cost of labor and other things in
proportion you will find that remarkably cheap. And you
will find our short order cooks just as proficient in their
line and we try to keep a full line of most everything the
markets and railroads will permit. We do our own pastry
work our pies and cakes are baked in our own kitchen and
you find them nice and fresh baked every day so if you are
not already a customer of ours give us a trial and we as-
sure you that it vill be appreciated.
