Was n Great Success.
' ; t.ilt was announced that election re
xeturns would be posted on a bulletin
board in front of Renfro's store on
Saturday night and shortly after the
polls closed on that afternoon the
crowd began to gather there to await
the latest news from the rural boxes
and state at large. They had but a
few moments to wait until couriers
from the Western Union and phone
messages from the various boxes over
the county brought in returns. Until
almost 12 o'clock the crowd waited
eager for messages to be ticked off
and read to them. The bulletin board
Nvas put up by the enterprising mer-
chant J. F. Rerifro and it proved an
excellent advertisement for the popu-
lar druggist who is really .in business
for your health.

both sides of the streets must have

Was in the Bulletin.
An ad appeared in the Bulletin Sat-
urday that brought results in a hurry.
The Almo Ice Cream advertisement
which occupied a half page space in
Saturday's issue convinced the Alamo
people if they were not already con
vinced that the Bulletin reaches the
homes of Browriwood. It was. perhaps
the first time that a full half page ad
of Ice cream had ever been carried in
any paper In this city and the people
evidently thought that the makers of
the cream had confidence In the merits
of their goods. '
At any rate the. Alamo. CoT sold near
ly one hundred gallons of "icecream
yesieruay. xneir amvei ustJiiiem. wjta
clear- cut well wordejl; and showed
that they were ready to stand behind
their coods and .jwarantee the purity
and cleanliness ot the Ice cream.
Many home.Iu the cityj yesterday had
their tables supplied with Alamo cream
and from the start made 'yesterday the
company' thinks it will be supplying
half the fablesHn Brownwood fortSun-

If you want results' show your faith
in your goods by telling the people
