MISSIONARY MEETING HIGH SCHOOL NOTES
The missionary meeting of the
Baptist Ladies Aid Society met
January 24th, in the home of
Mrs. A. V. Nelson; Mrs. C. 0.
Kight, leader. All being present
who had a part on the program
made it inteiesting. ■ Two new
members, Meadames M. 0, Wat-
kins and Dan Weaver, were re-
ceived. The free will offering
amounted to 87,70. The sc ial
hour came next, and was heartily
enjoyed by everyone. Our good
hostess assisted by her daughter.
Miss Maude, and Miss Emma
Goodger, served delicious re
freahments consisting of salad,
sandwiches, cake-, olives, and
chocolates. This part of the
program proved very interesting
also.
When we are in the Nelson
home the clock ticks off the time
entirely to rapidly for us, be-
cause we love to linger long in
such a home and with such a
hostess.

Martin H. Pemberton (Reuben),
entertained us at the college audi
torium Tuesday night, and it was
a good number of our lyceum coure
Mr. Pemberton was not only hu-
morous but instructive and highly
entertaining. The way he could
produce "iiddle" music on a violine
was something which brought ap-
plause after applause. The number
was worth the price of admission
