Ernest Robert (Jim) Frederick Jr.
Funeral services for Ernest Robert (Jim) Frederick Jr.
were held Oct. 23, 2008, at First Assembly of God of
Wylie.
The Rev. Jerry North and The Rev. A1 Draper officiat-
ed.
Mr. Frederick died Oct. 19.
He was bom July 18, 1925, to the late Ernest Robert
Frederick Sr. and Lala Belle Frederick.
Survivors include his wife, Dessie Faye Frederick;
sons, Jerry Wayne Frederick and Jeff Anthony Frederick;
daughters. Judy Lynn Allen and Joyce Faye Frederick;
sisters, Fannie Mae Fast and Doodie Faye Frederick;
brothers. Calvin Samuel Frederick and Tommy Quitman
Frederick; 18 grandchildren. 26 great-grandchildren and
one great-great-grandchild. He was also preceded in
death by daughter, Claudett Christene Frederick and son,
Jimmy Dale Frederick.
Arrangements are under the direction of Allen Funeral
Home of Wylie.

Eugene Swindle, 43, of Wylie were
held Oct. 21, 2008, at Parker
Ashworth Funeral Home in
Kaufman. Interment followed at Ola
Cemetery in Kaufman.
Minister Dub Henry officiated.
Mr. Swindle died Oct. 16 in Wylie.
He was born April 12, 1963, in
Oklahoma City, Okla. to Linda and
Harry Swindle.
Mr. Swindle attended Lakeview
Centennial High school and worked
for Rick's Tree Trimming Service.
According to his family, he enjoyed
fishing, hunting and spending time
with his nifces.
Survivors include his mother,
Linda Jorgensen; stepfather, Ron
Jorgensen; father, Harry Swindle;
sisters, Kay Martin of Seven Points,
Karen Martin of Seven Points and
Rita Kelly of Leander and fiancee
Staci Hickman.
Arrangements were under the
direction of Parker Ashworth Funeral
Home of Kaufman.
Robert Earl Harrison
Funeral services for Robert Earl Harrison of Wylie were held
Oct. 15, 2008, at Allen Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment followed at Thompson Cemetery in Copeville.
The Rev. Clint Bratcher officiated.
Mr. Harrison died Oct. 13 in Garland.
He was born Jan. 9, 1941, in Lavon to Willie Earl and Evelyn
Lucille (Jones) Harrison. He was a member of Lavon Baptist
Church and had been employed in the janitorial department of
Wylie ISD.
Survivors include his mother, Evelyn Harrison of Wylie; broth-
ers, Billy Harrison of Wylie, Danny Harrison of Wylie and Jerry
Harrison of Lavon. He was preceded in death by his father.
Arrangements were under the direction of Allen Funeral Home
of Wylie.
Joe Richard Guzman
Funeral services for Joe Richard Guzman of Rowlett were held
Oct. 18, 2008. at Allen Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment followed at Wylie Cemetery.
The Rev. Kason Huddleston officiated.
Mr. Guzman died Oct. 16.
He was born Oct. 1, 1965. in Dallas.
Survivors include his parents, Joe and Mattie Guzman of
Rowlett; brother. Keith R. Guzman of Indianapolis, Ind. and
numerous other relatives.
Arrangements were under the direction of Allen Funeral Home
of Wylie.

Richardson Regional Medical
Center's new outpatient hospital
and comprehensive cancer cen-
ter recently opened at the
Bush/Renner Campus.
The $41 million project will
satisfy an identified need in
North Texas, according to infor-
mation from the hospital.
The outpatient hospital
includes a full-service emer-
gency department staffed round
the clock by board-certified
emergency medicine physi-
cians. In addition to 18 emer-
gency-care beds, a four-bed
observation unit is available for
overnight care.
The emergency department
can treat ridults and children and
all types of injuries as well as
cardiac, orthopedic, obstetric
and pediatric emergencies.
Other services include medical
imaging, a lab and respiratory
therapy.
The Richardson Regional
Cancer Center, an affiliate of
UT Southwestern Medical
Center, opened at its new loca-
tion at the Bush/Renner Campus
to bring an advanced level of
cancer care to the region. The
new Cancer Center expands
medical, surgical and radiation
oncology, clinical research,
genetic counseling, patient edu-
cation and support services - all
in one convenient location.
The Bush/Renner develop-
ment commenced with the
opening of the five-story.
100,000-square-foot physician
pavilion in August 2004. It is
home to more than 20 physi-
cians specializing in pediatrics,
urology, obstetrics/gynecology,
internal medicine and more. t
