taking the Guys and Dolls to Sil-
ver! on to he in the talent show.
B;ind may seem to be a sissy's
activity to some Claude students,
but, an interesting fact was re-
cently brought to light. Twenty-
three members of Groom's foot-
ball team are in the band. It's
just something to think about.
Harry Wood stated as he sound-
ed off, "I don't blame the town
folks for loosing interest in their
team. There are only a few who
have the desire and determination
to play football like we^ have been
coached. We need eleven determ-
ined players to be the winner
and that is what we will have
this Friday."
The speach class reported an
en.ioya'-le time attending a play,
"The Trial of Macy Dugan,"
presented at the Little Theatre,
Tuesday night, Nov. 1. — Zipra

The girls basketball team has
been chosen as one of the top
teams in Texas, and has probable
aspects of a successful team this
year, They have had daily one
hour workouts with one workout
at Silverton, Nov 5.

for our school to the best of our
