House.
At Conference held at Anderson Camp Ground, August 14, 1880: W. F.
Freeman, W.R. Miller, and B.C.Cely were appointed a committee to dispose of
the church property at Kickapoo, and to apply the proceeds of the same to the
purchasing of an interest in the Masonic Church at Kickapoo.
Statistics reported to Annual Conference showed: Local preachers 2,
White members 323, Adults baptized 13, Infants baptized 12, No. of Churches 1,
No. of sittings 400, value of churches $800. No. of Parsonages 1, value $500.
Other church property value $500.
First Quarterly Conference for 1881 held at Anderson Camp Ground, Feb.19, 1881.

At the Third Quarterly Conference held at Anderson Camp Ground, Aug.20, 1881,
"it was ordered that the trustees of the Camp Ground property be authorized
and empowered to donate to the trustees of the School Community one acre of
the Camp Ground lands for school purposes."
At the First Quarterly Conference for the year 1882 held at Anderson Camp
Ground, Feb. 23, 1882, the following assessments were made against the
Societies of the Circuit:
Kickapoo $180.00 Stovall $ 50.00
Antioch 50.00 Nechesville 150.00
Camp Ground 235.00
(NOTE: The following insert is from Vol. 48, page 60, Deed
Records, Anderson County, Texas: John F. Cely, A. W. Elrod,
B. L. Elrod, and John C. Elrod, Trustees of Methodist Episcopal
Church, South, at Brusy Creek in Anderson County, Texas, for a
consideration of $1.00, executed a deed to William Foster Lodge
No. 312, A.F. & A.M., and to trustees of School No. 1 at Brushy
